The cap starts with a four square plaited for each of the interior and exterior walls. The sides are fully twined in cedar bark and sedge. For the design it has four rows inside and out, in dyed green and purple sedge.
Ms. Neilson was an avid collector of Native American objects. Her entire collection was donated to CTGR in 2001.
